Coming from a family of creatives myself, I personally understand the challenges that the identity of an artist personality may experience. Challenges of creating or identifying as an artist may include:
Lack of Motivation
Creative Blocks
Low Self-Worth
Procrastination
Identity Crisis
Judgemental
Depression
Pessimism
Frustration
Avoidance
Rejection
Doubtful
Criticism
Fearful
To eliminate these creative blocks, I provide a service that is part psychotherapy (counseling) and part coaching.
Creative Counseling Studio By identifying the aspects that limit our ability to meet our desired goals, we are able to effectively understand the nature of our emotions and possible ways to remedy our concerns. As your therapist, I provide a practical approach to psychotherapy where we first examine the areas of your present struggles and link these difficulties to their origins. In my experience, individuals that have experienced or witnessed some level of a psychological distress with their sense of self or their creative efforts, may develop an aversion to developing their creative identity and their gifts that come with that personality. Having a clear understanding of the root issues, we are able to proceed in managing the symptoms that limit our ability to thrive as creators. In essence, we are finding the data necessary to create a plan for your healing.
Artistic Coaching Having the background of an artist myself, I have created practical systems to support the development of creative projects. While my psychotherapist mind remains active in coaching, we will utilize the awareness of the issues that may hinder progress and provide tools for support. Once we are able to manage our psychological symptoms, we can then proceed in developing strategies and methods to build our creative work and identity. These tools, strategies and methods include:
Finding or building a community of supportive conscious creators
Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) to remove creative blocks
Hypnotherapy to support the process of project progression
Rehabilitation strategies to remedy identity as an artist
Creative exercises to support development of talent
Because every artist profile is unique, I recommend scheduling a 15-minute free call, to better understand how I can support your talents.
