PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY

BEFORE.
DURING.
AFTER.

THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT ACROSS THE PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE.
Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, preparation, and integration within a collaborative model of care—supporting the psychological process before, during, and after the medicine experience.
EXPLORE THE WORK

A CONTINUUM OF CARE

THE EXPERIENCE IS ONE PART
OF A LARGER PROCESS.

Psychedelic experiences can open powerful psychological, emotional, relational, and existential material. What happens before, during, and after the experience can shape how that material is understood and integrated.

My approach brings these stages into a connected therapeutic process. Depending on the treatment context, this may include preparation beforehand, psychotherapeutic support throughout the medicine session, and integration afterward.

When medicine and medical care are part of the treatment, I work within a collaborative model with appropriately licensed medical professionals responsible for the medical aspects of care within their respective scopes of practice.

THE GOAL IS NOT SIMPLY TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE.
IT IS TO CREATE THE CONDITIONS FOR MEANINGFUL, LASTING CHANGE.

Preparation

Preparing psychologically for what lies ahead.
Clarifying intentions, expectations, questions, concerns, and psychological considerations before an experience.

Integration

Bringing what emerges into everyday life.
Making meaning of what emerged and exploring how insights can be translated into sustainable changes in everyday life.
INTEGRATE →

FROM EXPERIENCE TO INTEGRATION

A powerful experience can create an opening. What happens afterward shapes what that opening becomes.

Psychedelic and other non-ordinary experiences can bring moments of profound insight, emotional release, expanded awareness, or a renewed sense of meaning. But insight does not automatically become transformation.

Integration is the process of developing a relationship with what emerged, reflecting on the experience, exploring its meaning, noticing what it reveals about existing patterns, and gradually translating that awareness into everyday life.
Rather than asking only, “What happened during the experience?”  the deeper questions often become:

What is this experience asking me to understand?
What might need to change?
What deserves to be practiced, embodied, or lived differently?

The experience may change what we see. Integration can change how we live.

PREPARE → EXPERIENCE → REFLECT → INTEGRATE → EMBODY

PSYCHEDELIC SUPPORT MAY BE HELPFUL WHEN…

You may be preparing for a psychedelic experience, considering psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, or seeking support in understanding and integrating an experience that has already occurred.

People often seek support when an experience, or the possibility of one, feels meaningful, confusing, transformative, challenging, or some combination of these.

The work may involve exploring:
  • intentions, expectations, or concerns about an upcoming experience
  • psychological preparation and readiness
  • whether psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy may be an appropriate treatment pathway
  • emotions, memories, or psychological material that emerge
  • insights or realizations arising during or after an experience
  • changes in identity, relationships, values, or priorities
  • mystical, spiritual, symbolic, or transpersonal experiences
  • experiences that feel difficult to understand or put into words
  • ways of translating insight into meaningful change in everyday life

YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT.

Psychedelic work is not about arriving with the “right” interpretation or knowing exactly what you need beforehand. It can provide a space to approach the experience with curiosity, psychological grounding, and respect for the meaning it holds for you.

Sometimes integration begins with understanding the experience. Sometimes it begins with understanding the person who returned from it.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Different experiences call for different kinds of support.
01 — PREPARATION & INTEGRATION

Support before and after psychedelic and other non-ordinary experiences.

A space to clarify intentions, prepare psychologically, explore what emerged, and translate meaningful insights into everyday life.
